Let’s fix that! For the most accurate sizing, we recommend you get sized at a local jewelry store. If you’re going for a wide band or stacking set, be sure to let them know so they can use a wide ring gauge, or direct you best. Otherwise, find our plastic ring sizer listing here and size yourself at home! See directions in listing.
If it is a Jen Leddy Studios ring, whether purchased directly from us or through one of our gallery partners, 100% YES! We do not resize any other jewelry than our own at this time.
If it is a Jen Leddy Studios piece of jewelry, whether purchased directly from us or through one of our gallery partners, 100% YES! We do not repair any other jewelry than our own at this time.
We do not offer wedding bands in sterling silver unless specifically requested, and after accepting our disclaimer. The reason is that sterling silver is a very soft and malleable metal. It scratches, dents, and tarnishes over time. We believe wedding bands should last a lifetime, if not many generations, and unfortunately sterling silver just doesn’t stand that test of time the way gold and platinum do.
Yes! We will happily make adjustments to any production piece. Shorten a chain, add another jump ring to a chain for more versatility, swap out a gemstone or diamond, change metals, or select a different finish. Just ask and will supply a quote if there is an up-charge associated with change. For fully Custom projects see our Custom FAQ section below or visit our Custom page.
Of course! All purchases come carefully wrapped in our thoughtfully selected packaging, boxed with a ribbon, ready for gifting. All orders ship with only a packing slip, no prices listed.
Please do! Before proceeding to the checkout, enter your desired note in the “Notes” box. We will be sure to include it on a hand-written note card.

Our Products & Our Studio
We are committed to ethical and environmental responsibility and transparency. Our efforts include maintaining a green studio, using recycled precious metals, and sourcing our stones carefully through trusted and reliable vendors. There is a TON of “green-washing” (claims to eco-friendly or sustainable practices, products, and methods) in the jewelry industry today, without a foundation to support it. We encourage you to ask the tough questions of businesses from whom you purchase. We proudly and openly share each and every aspect of how and where our efforts support sustainable, responsible, and ethical practices in our jewelry and our business. It’s not a one-stop-shop to being 100% sustainable or ethical. It is an ever-evolving goal that can only be tackled one choice at a time, and the jewelry industry as a whole is far behind other industries in this category. We actively pursue and prioritize what we can do better, as it is available. A huge factor is education, sharing, and community cooperation. Learn more on our Sustainability page.
Our metals are 100% recycled, certified by SCS global services. Please visit our Sustainability page for detailed information.
We work in 100% SCS certified recylced sterling silver, 14k yellow, rose, and palladium white gold, 18k yellow, rose, and palladium white gold, and platinum. We will fabricate simple white gold bands in nickel gold upon request if customers do not have a known nickel allergy (for a more affordable white gold option). But otherwise we do not work with nickel white gold. Palladium white gold is at a premium currently and will be quoted upon request because palladium prices are soaring from limited supply in the market. We recommend platinum for any white metal preferences.

It is likely that you wore your piece into a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Other harsh chemicals can do this as well. Or, an unworn sterling silver piece can turn black (which is the most extreme form of tarnishing), from extended exposure to moisture and oxygen. Don’t fret! It can be cleaned or refinished and look bright and beautiful again. Please see our Care & Cleaning Guidelines for details.
We sure do! We guarantee our work to be free of craftsmanship flaws. If there is anything wrong attributed to the original craftsmanship, we will fix it free of charge. We offer a 1 year warranty for any issues occurring under normal wear and tear. We encourage following our Care & Cleaning Guidelines for the best results. We recommend getting stones and settings assessed and/or tightened at least every 2 years, specifically bridal and prong settings. If damage occurs from negligence or improper wear, we can do a repair for a small charge. If a piece has been worked on or repaired by another jeweler, we can no longer extend our warranty or guarantee.
Thank you for your interest! We have a small private studio, so we cannot welcome our local customers into the studio itself, but instead can meet you at a workspace or coffee shop close by. Just send us a message with what you'd like to see and we can arrange a meeting!
Custom Projects
We estimate that Custom projects will take 4 to 8 weeks, once your Custom slot on our calendar arrives. Our timeline for each project depends greatly on the design intricacy, stone sourcing, and our concurrent Custom or order queue. We book out months, if not up to a year, in advance, so be sure to get on our list, contact us, or fill out our Custom Inquiry Form to see when our next available slot is.
Short answer, yes! We LOVE repurposing and recycling old to new! But each is a case by case basis, and requires an assessment of the materials before getting approval to proceed. Please contact us or fill out our Custom Inquiry Form to determine if your provided pieces are appropriate for repurposing.
Custom projects are entirely bespoke from the ground up, made just for you. Customized (or customizing) is a slight alteration or adjustment made to a production piece or existing design.
